YOUNG JUSTICE POSTER SERIES: AQUALAD
I’ve been itching to do some fanart from the series Young Justice. Not being an illustrator or drawer really, I decided to make something that was within my experience and that is posters. I’m a Graphic Design major and felt like making a series of Posters for the Young Justice members.
My inspiration for these posters is the Disneyland Attraction posters. I love that retro feel they have and I wanted to incorporate it into my poster work as well. It also gives a nod to DC’s Justice League: The New Frontier style as well, since they are influenced by that time period.
This poster features the Young Justice current leader: Aqualad (Kaldur). Since he was the leader, it felt only right to make his first. I hope to have the rest of the teammates posters out in the near future.
